Credit card surcharges introduced by Australia Immigration department

Credit card surcharges were introduced by Australia immigration and border protection department (DIBP) from 19th April 2014. If the immigration department takes up or considers your application before 19th April 2014, then you are not affected with these changes. If visa application charges are paid through credit card, after this date, then the credit card surcharges are applicable.  Credit card surcharges are applied for all the online visa applications and paper applications paid through credit card.

This change impacts all of the visas such as student visas, resident visas, employer nomination scheme visas, visitor visas and partner visas.
