Australia's new visa medical provider accepts bookings
Operating on the behalf of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP), BUPA is providing six medical centers and an additional 30 partner centers around Australia. All these will be open from 28 July 2014 to provide medical assessments to the visa applicants.
As part of the process, Australian longer stay temporary visa applicants or permanent visa applicants may require a medical assessment. Medical assessment usually includes physical assessment, assessment of blood and urine sample and even an x-ray taken for the chest.
One with a valid passport along with HAP ID from DIBP can book an appointment. Easiest way to do that is through online booking system. At the time of the submission of a visa application, the applicant will receive a HAP ID. The same will be obtained upon finishing a Health Declaration, if there are plans to lodge a visa application later.
BUPA spokesman said that the international firm understands that immigration provides an opportunity to enhance one’s quality of life. Its professional health assessment services help customers to realize the target of long and healthy life.
