Austria new visa rules for china, India, and Indonesia

Austria government decided to introduce liberalized visa regime, to issue business visas for the foreign nationals to come Austria with effective from 1st August 2015. 

The new visa regime will apply to the foreign nationals of china, India, and Indonesia during the initial trail phase. To this effect, an MOU was signed between the Ministries and federal chamber of commerce.

New visa regime enforces to authorize Austrian trade commissioners in china, India, and Indonesia to issue visas for bonafide business travelers purposefully eliminating the other document requirements.

Visa grants to business travelers will be expected to give within five days with a long valid period of stay.

The first time travelers on business visa to Austria will get a visa with a validity of six months, second time business travelers get three years valid visa and for all others a valid visa up to five years are granted.

The introduction of new schemes reflects the recognition that Austria gave to the countries of china, India and Indonesia for its trustworthy and importance attached to it.
