Visa fees to rise for visitors and tourist visiting Bahrain

Bahrain has announced that it would raise the visa fees for visitors, businessmen and tourists entering the nation.

The increase in the visa fees would come to effect in October, according to Bahrain’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA).Rise in the visa fees will be implemented as part of efforts by the NPRA to enhance the services and aid the issuance of visas.

All kind of visas related to visit and their extensions will be raised, including 72-hour visas, British and Irish visitor’s visas, one-week GCC resident’s visas and Visa on Arrival and their extension for two weeks. 

Earlier this month, a new visa structure came into effect including new collection of visas and entry permits such as multiple entry permits for work or visit.
