Wuhan to proffer 72-hour visa relaxation facility for overseas

One of the capital cities of central China, Wuhan which comes under the Hubei region is all set to proffer transit visa exception for all the overseas individuals who are planning to tour to the nation in the month of March, says the concerned officials of the country on Sunday. 

All the overseas applicants are allowed to tour to Wuhan without holding any visa for up to 72 hours en route to other nationals or provinces via WTIA(Wuhan Tianhe International Airport). Presently, WTIA is proffering 24 hours exemption of visas for the people who wish to tour to the nearby areas of the airport.  

Wuhan is the ninth city followed by Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Xi'an, Dalian, Chengdu and Chongqing in China to hold the new policy. With respect to this the province can find the rise in the count of international applications from across the globe.

As per the city management divisions, scenic spots and local travel authorities have been working on the tailored services and the pre-arranged programs for enhancing the inflow of overseas tourists to the country.

The concerned authorities of the province are also planning to provide direct air flights between Chicago and Dubai as well as Wuhan and Melbourne in the current year, says the WTIA officials. At present, WTIA is operating around 31 international and domestic routes.
