Australia to facilitate new flexible visa request option for Chinese

Australian government has successfully reached their target in offering online visa facility for Chinese aspirants. The new Pilot program which has been launched by the country’s government during the first half of the December month in previous year has also completed its first round of application processing of overseas citizens effectively.

Minister for Trade and Investment of Australia, Andrew Robb stated that offering of trial electronic visitor visa facility is only an element of broader policy to make sure that it upholds its position as a favored destination for all the travelers and investors of china. 

Besides three years manifold arrival visa facility, the country has also introduced electronic visa facility called pilot plan for Chinese travelers and their business holders to meet their requirements in a better way. 

This new SmartGate online visa facility for e-Passport holders of China fast-tracks the travelers and business individual’s arrival to Australia. As per the finalized records, it was found that they are about to grant 5000 visas every year for holiday and work makers of China.

During the year 2013-14, 760,000 citizens of China have spent around $4.8 billion for Australia, and in a similar time over 150,000 students have enrolled in the top ranked universities of the country. In the same duration the bilateral trade’s worth between both the nations is 160 billion dollars.

The Trade and Investment ministry has also noted that China is their key source for the development of market and their economy. In the latest survey, it was also found that the Chinese tourists have made their second best home destination as Australia, following Hong Kong in the region of Asia Pacific. 

Around 52% of Chinese travelers visit the nation for shopping and for sightseeing the stupendous attractions and 36% for enjoying its traditions and cultures and the remaining 41% to experience its astonishing cuisine and natural attractions.
