Dubai multiple-entry visa to enhance cruise tourism sector
UAE’s new changes to its visa system will have an effect on the cruise sector of Dubai and will further enhance the medical tourism in the emirate.
A new rule in the country, which came into effect on 01 August 2014, will make sure that new fees and visa system will be implemented.
These changes include variety of new entry permits for medical tourists and their travel companions, and multiple entry tourism permits for cruise passengers. With the new visa options, the travel between UAE and the close by countries will be simplified for travelers who require to make many stops.
Executive director of business tourism at Dubai’s Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, Hamad bin Mejren said that multiple entry tourist permits will lessen the cost for each passenger and improve the growth of the sector.
