Anybody who is keenly waiting for the results of Canada express entry indeed has very good news as 11th draw has taken place on June 26th 2015. The invitations to obtain permanent residence for skilled migrants from different countries on the basis of their skills, work experience and education under federal economic immigration program has been increased to 1575 from 1501 of the 10th draw which was taken place on June 12th 2015.
The government of Canada’s Citizenship and immigration Canada (CIC) the official body which authorizes express entry program has also released cutoff score of the 11th draw which has decreased to 469 from the previous figure of 482 by 10th draw which was held on 12th June 2015.
What is express entry program?
The government of Canada on January 1st has launched a new program called express entry for skilled immigrants for the potential candidates who want to get work permit based on their work experience, skills, language ability, education and others.
In express entry program, candidates are been given ranks against others using a point based system known as Comprehensive Ranking System points are awarded based on the information provided by the candidate in their profile. The candidates who scores highest points will be issued an invitation to apply by citizenship and immigration of Canada (CIC) processes most of the applications.
Express entry program manages the permanent residence applications under the following federal immigration programs consisting of
- Federal skilled trades program,
- Federal skilled worker program and
- Canadian experience Class.
First draw of the express entry program has taken place on 31st Jan 2015, the representative body citizenship and immigration of Canada (CIC) officials have announced that they will hold 15 to 25 draws in the year 2015. By 26th June 2015, eleven draws have already taken place.
