A new start up visa, french tech ticket to foreign entreprenuers

In order to attract foreign entrepreneurs to invest in France. France announces French tech ticket, a start up visa which is also a work visa to the people between US $14,000 and US $28,000 for each team member, a free space for office in an incubator at office and an english speaking advisor.

Announced by French minister of state for digital economy at La French Touch Conference with a limited applications for a moment, around 500. This French tech ticket will takeoff from january 2015, this is provided to any team of company with atmost three co-founders and  french founder who is living abroad. 

However, they need to be willing on startup, should speak english and stay for a minimum period of six months. In every six months, a minimum of 50 French tech ticket will be given to the prospective candidates.

This French tech ticket brings some reminiscence of Chilean government startup program to attract investment. This program with the intention of raising investment would bring tougher competition to the other European countries, who wanted to raise the entreprenueral spirit for their own economies.

For this program, French government is partnering with the capital city paris. This program was officially announced during the month of October in 2014.
