For express entry immigration streams launched by Ontario

Followed by British Columbia, Ontario has launched the provincial nominee program express entry through the government. The program enables Ontario to participate actively in the selection of immigration depending on the requirements of the province and will be resulting in low processing time for the international workers who are eligible.

The latest provincial nomination program of Ontario has provided a quick pathway for those who are planning for Canada’s migration through the express entry program. In January 2015, express entry is a latest system of application management which has been introduced by (CIC) Citizenship and Immigration Canada for managing the applications of permanent residents for the Canada’s skilled immigrants.

Applicants will be ranked according to the system based on the points and the candidates who have scored the highest are provided ITA for the permanent residence. The applications of the express entry are predicted to process within the span of six months or below six months.

In order to facilitate the skilled worker’s immigration in the province, two latest streams of express entry have been created by Ontario through the provincial nominee program.

The stream Human capital priorities has been planned for the workers who have the needed qualification, ability of language, work experience which is skilled and the other characteristics in order to help them establish and merge into the labor market of Ontario.  The candidates applying to this stream have a Canada’s level of language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or more in either French or English and must have at least 400 points in the CRS of express entry.

The stream French-speaking skilled worker aims at the skilled workers who speak French and also have the ability of the English language. The minimum level of CLB 6 is required in English and CLB 7 is needed in French along with the needed work experience, settlement funds and education.

The candidates who meet the necessities will get a NOI from the Ontario under their account of MyCIC. Through the receipt of the NOI the applicants may apply to any one of the provincial nomination programs through the streams of express entry.

The nominated applicants of Ontario will obtain extra 600 points in express entry considering the chances of ITA’s for permanent residence. The figure of the nominations issued by Ontario will be determined by the government every year. This year the figure is 5,200. From among these, 2700 nominations have to be used through Ontario’s express entry.
