India set to open seven additional visa processing centres across Malaysia

The Indian High commission has introduced a new rule which necessitates every visa applicant to visit the visa processing centre for Biometric enrolment. Any other representatives or travel agents are not authorized to submit the applications in the interest of the visa applicant.

This new system has been in implementation from 1st April, 2015, which is applicable to all the applicants visiting India from Malaysia for either tourism or business.

The high commission has been receiving complaints about this new rule. So, it has been decided to open seven more processing centers all over Malaysia to save cost and time of the visa applicants in the process of submitting their applications.

These processing centres are to open at Kuala Terengganu, Ipoh, Klang, Malacca, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

The submission hours of the applications are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
