Israel consulate general opens new visa application center in Bangalore

The consulate general of Israel has opened a visa application center in Bangalore, India.

Menahem Kanafi, Israeli Consul General, said that the center will issue visas under various categories such as education, business, pilgrimage and tourism enabling more number of Indians to visit Israel simply and easily.

Hereafter, people visiting Israel do not need to go to an embassy in New Delhi or Mumbai consulate office to get visas. The newly launched visa application center will save time as the visas will be processed in less than four working days, the Consul General added.

Besides, the center offers courier service as an option to send back passports along with the visa.

Menahem Kanafi said that as around 40,000 Indians visit Israel every year, the embassy has made it convenient for Indian travelers to directly file their visa applications at the center.
