The Japanese government is planning to alleviate multiple entry visa conditions for Chinese travelers. At present, overseas ministry is about to offer this multiple visa facility only to Chinese tourists who come with a paying stay for an overnight duration in Miyagi, Okinawa, Fukushima or Iwate in their initial tour to Japan.

This multiple entry visa is valid only for three years and the duration of stay for each entry is within the period of 90 days.  The foreign ministry has conveyed his opinion that, all the circumstances will be relaxed when the two countries have their further meeting.

The ministry further revealed that, this multiple visa entry facility is applicable only to individuals who possess income less than that of the current standards and had a trip to Japan in the last three years.

The government of Japan is also allowing individuals with high income to enter the country, even if they don’t come under any of the specified prefectures.
