Government of Kenya that necessitated nationals of South Africa to acquire a visa to travel to Kenya with effect from 01 September 2014 has been suspended.
Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Amina Mohamed said that the suspension took place to enable the two nations to discuss on the means forward.
The action would mean that South Africans visiting Kenya for a period of 30 days or less will not need a visa.
In response to the newly proposed rules of immigration Kenya has announced visa requirements in June, which includes biometric information collection personally, as announced by South African nationals on the nationals of Kenya in May.
