Liberia finishes procedures to waive Visas to Turkey

The Foreign Minister Augustine Ngafuan has intimated the House of Representatives that government has finished the lawful procedures for entrance into force of an agreement between Liberia and Turkey for joint waiving of Visas for holders of Diplomatic Passports of both nations.

Ngafuan intimated that the government of Liberia proposal was in line with Article 12 of Agreement.

He revealed that consequently, all diplomatic passport holders are waived from visa requirement to come in, transit via, exit and dwell momentarily in the territory of Liberia or Turkey for a period up to 90 days within a period of 180 days, considered from the date of initial entry. 

He elucidated that the provision also applies to prospective families and dependents of diplomatic passport holders moving together who have valid service, diplomatic, special, official and ordinary passports.
