GCC Visitors can get Multiple-entry visas to Bahrain

Visitors traveling to a GCC nation will be eligible for a one-month multiple-entry visa to Bahrain under new norms, which are set to announce on coming Wednesday. 

The new rules will permit the residents of the GCC as well as citizens of 102 nations to acquire three-month multiple-entry visas. Nonetheless, recipients will be able to reside a maximum for a period of two weeks. 

The objective is to entice more travelers and investors, and the decision will be taken before the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which is scheduled to be held from 17 to 19 in April.

The assistance under-secretary of Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa elucidated the new visa system in the press conference. He added that their motto was to boost the businesses and tourism sectors in Bahrain, and the new visa regime will entice more visitors.

Shaikh Ahmed explained that Bahrain is set to offer a multiple entry visas valid for three months for the same fees, which allows businessmen and GCC residents to visit Bahrain more often. 

Further, he added that the new visa regime is outlined to entice visitors by granting them a one-month multiple-entry visa to visit any GCC state. Expatriates planning to visit any GCC country and businessmen can file an online application for Bahrain visa, which will be processed within five working days. 

Sources stated that visa applicants will be able to apply for an extension and those who stay beyond the validity period of their visas will be given assistance.
