New Canadian visa centre opens at Dubai for UAE residents

The Canadian government has opened its new visa application centre in Dubai to help UAE residents travel to the country without any constraints. The new CVAC (Canada Visa Application Centre) which has initiated its operations on 19 March 2015 is located at Dubai WafiMall. As the part of a governments project VFS Global is about to set up a network of 125 CVACs. Among all this is the second largest visa application centre in UAE. And earlier in the month of March this application services have also been commenced in Oman. 

This improved CVACs network is anticipated to proffer enhanced access and administrative services to prospective individuals through service path, which in turn supports the implementation of biometrics.  Canadian Council General to Dubai, Emmanuel Kamarianak noted that the new application hub in Dubai will also provide one more service alternative to UAE travelers. With an intention to fulfill the aspiration of Canadian government, VFS Global is all set to make the immigration process more accessible and convenient for UAE applicants.

The CVAC will offer absolute services for the Canadian government and is endorsed to receive the requests for all short-term resident options such as study, visitor as well as work permits and travel document requests from permanent residents of Canada residing in UAE. Moreover it is also endorsed to proffer managerial support services that include compilation of visa applications and offering the valid sealed passports to potential applicants. Apart from this CVAC will also support in interview scheduling on behalf of the visa office of Canada.

But the crucial decision regarding the issuing and refusing of visas is made exclusively by respective executives of CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada), in accordance with the latest norms of the country. VFS Global will just receive the application, but the further processing and assessing will be done by the Canadian Embassy.
