VFS Global launches new UK-Australian visa center in Bangkok
A new joint VAC (Visa Application centre) for UK and Australia was launched in Bangkok by VFS global. The company which handles the responsibility of handling Thai nationals’ visa applications for both UK and Australia opened on Sukhumvit Soi 13, in the midst of Bangkok. With the intention of speeding up the application process, the new centre employs biometric counters and to hold student interviews it also uses booths for video conferencing . In addition to these, it also offers a Premium lounge, courier and SMS services and priority applications and fast track services.
The Australia’s ambassador, James Wise, said that the new Bangkok VAC builds good relationship between Australia and UK in terms of immigration co-operation as also it also demonstrates the collaboration values between these countries. He also stated that the candidates who use this centre would be impressed by the services rendered by the staff personnel.
The VFS global’s chief operating officer for Australia, Sriram Narayan stated that they were privileged to be associated with the government of UK and Australia and they are happy to offer a new visa application centre for Bangkok applicants. During weekends, the VAC will be opened from 0830 to 1630 hours.
