Oman exempts SMEs from ban on recruitment
The Ministry of Manpower of Sultanate of Oman along with the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises have announced that the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are exempted from ban on expatriate recruitment up on meeting essential requirements.
The decision firmly declares that the endeavor should be handled by the owners for full time and properly registered. These enterprises should have insurance from the Public Authority for Social Insurance along with being enrolled at the Public Authority of Manpower Register as job-seeker. The enterprise meeting the expat labor work permit requirements in compliance with the ministry requirement list will be issued a letter by the authority.
