Regain Tourism with the help of Visa Exemption in Hanoi (VNS)

Overcome the problem of the fall in the tourism in the HANOI

Experts of HA NOI said that, fall in the number of international visitors in HA NOI can be boosted by exempting visas for citizens with the help of key tourist markets.

Visa exemption should be given by the government to the citizens to encourage the visitors from nations like UK, Germany, France and Australia, they said during the workshop in HA NOI held by Viet Nam tourism association.

Vietnam exempt visas unilaterally to the citizens of Finland, South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Russia and Denmark where 9/10 ASEAN members states are bilaterally granted 30 days exemption for the citizens.

From June 2014 to April 2015, the number of holiday makers has been dropped and also including the fall in the growth rate from 2010 to 2014 with the difference of 34.8% to 4% 

Nguyen Huu Tho who is the chairmen of Vietnam tourism association, endorsed the ineffective co-ordination by National Administration of tourism’s between localities which declining number of changes in visa, cruise and transit regulation  

Nguyen also regarded the existing of unprofessional tourism promotional efforts and also the shortage of large scale promotional campaigns. The prevalence of the tourism industry image has muted domestically and internationally by the ineffective small scale campaigns. He also added the causative factors like insufficiency of the tourism services and lack of qualified staff.

He also tinted the global economic developments which undetermined people’s willingness to spend money on travel with the appreciation of USD and depreciation of EUR and JPY

Department of tourism, culture and sports have been re-established in many places of tourist departments.

Experts said providence of high-quality and affordable services are strengthened by participating more in promotional programmes by travel companies-VNS.
