Indian travel industry is booming in the wake of ICC WorldCup

The Indian travel industry has touched a new high after the announcement that a single visa would be issued for Australia and New Zealand in the wake of the ICC World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in early 2015.

The reports indicated that there were demands from the tourism sector as well to make such single visa policy to these countries a permanent one.

In fact, the new visa policy is just a proposal that’s yet to be implemented. The sources close to the industry have even mentioned that no date has been announced so far with regards to the same.

However, travel industry was reportedly trading in profits the moment this news went viral.

India&Gulf Tourism Australia country manager Nishant Kashikar was of the opinion that travel and tourism industries will enter new phase in case such a single visa policy comes into force given the high craze for cricket viewership in India.

The tourism industry experts in New Zealand too have exuded confidence that the single visa would really put the travel and tourism of both countries in limelight.
