South Africa will grant business visas to Indian businessmen, who wish to explore for opportunities in the country, in less than four days of submitting the application.
France Morule, South African High Commissioner, said that South Africa and India have a good bilateral relationship and the Indian companies are developing their businesses in South Africa. So, in order to further strengthen the business relationships between both the countries the South African government has decided to process business visas at a quick rate.
He also said that the relationship between South Africa and India has grown over years. The Bilateral business has increased significantly from $7.5 billion to $11.15 billion between 2008-09 and 2013-14.
India holds the position among the top 10 business partners of South Africa and at present holds the 5th place as a destination for export and is ranked 6th as a source of import.
The investment of the India in South Africa is approximately $6 billion and is anticipated to rise to $7 billion in the future.
India and South Africa have formally agreed to many multilateral agreements and they have a common view point on many worldwide issues.
