The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) has accomplished the online visa application processes , with electronic visas constituting a significant part in the happening modernization program.
The DHA recently agreed to work with VFS Global to obtain and handle applications of permit and visa in South Africa (SA) by initiating 11 visa facilitation centers all through the nine provinces of the country.
Home affairs minister, Malusi Gigaba said that VFS has been assigned the task of automating the processes of the application, providing a resolution for intake of biometrics in accordance with new immigration regulations of SA and organizing a devoted call centre for timely and efficient processing.
Clients at present can apply online, organize appointment and visit the visa facilitation services for intake of biometrics, the minister added.
