Thailand set to boost tourism industry

Thailand is working towards filling up the gaps in the tourism industry. In a recent note released to the press, the Thai military government has said that it would like to speed up the process that would boost the tourism sector.

It may be recalled that Thailand Government has waived visa fees and visa exemption for a 30-day stay to 48 countries. Now, the government wants to further extend its benefit after it noticed the way the new move has helped the tourism sector.

The new moves-to make Thailand an even more favourable destination-include beach cleaning in Krabi, Phuket and Hua Hin. Notably, these are on the list of most visited places in Thailand. Also, the taxi drivers would be regulated at Bangkok airports (as Bangkok being the top destination of Thailand).

The tourism experts are of the opinion that the new initiative would certainly help Thailand project as one of the cleanliest countries of the world.
