Starting from today, the UK will offer a super-priority visa service at the visa application center in Dubai and Abu Dubai.
Apparently, the new service which costs Dh3,295 apart from regular visa fees will enable applicants to get their decision and documents in less than 24 hours. And, regular visa fees differ depending on the duration, for example six-month visit visa cost Dh474, two-year visa cost Dh1,719 and five-year visa cost Dh3,118. The service permits applicants to file an application for multi-entry visas, long-term valid for ten years and long-term work as well as study visas.
The UK’s Ambassador to the UAE, Philip Parham stated that they were very happy to launch the UK super-priority visa service in the UAE, which is one of the prosperous countries.
Nonetheless, emirates will be able to utilize the electronic visa waiver, which provides them visa-free travel in case they register online minimum 48 hours prior their departure to the UK for a six-month visit.
Applicants who are eligible for the new service are required to book the super-priority visa service appointment while making a visa application online. And, appointments for the service is available between 8 am and 10 am from Sunday to Thursday at visa application centers in Dubai and Abu Dubai.
Parham added that the super-priority visa service provides an alternative option for business people, tourists and students who wish to travel to the UK at the last minute. In addition to the new service, other amendments on par with the new immigration norms will come into play.
