UK improve its visa processing services in China

With a view to fasten the visa processing in China, the UK high commission has taken up steps to expand its visa centres in at least 12 centres in China.The new service would be applicable for work and visit visas, said the sources. Reports indicated that the commission would introduce a round the clock service at its centres in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

Briefing more on the same, the UK immigration and security minister, James Brokenshire has said that China was the biggest visa market for the United Kingdom. Therefore, the country had plans to expand its visa services in China, he added.

Already proven successful in Shanghai and Beijing, the biometric mobile service will enable applicants register their fingerprints at the visa application centres. Also, the UK high commission has mentioned that personalized services would be introduced at many other centres on par with the existing services such as premium service lounges.

All in the all, the industry experts have hailed this proposal and said that this would be a new chapter in the UK visa processing.
