The Deputy High Commissioner of British, Bharat Joshi stated that this is the right time to study in the UK. 

Notably, they offer nearing to e 700 scholarships for Indian students to study in the country; a largest scheme is in the world, which includes more than 130 of the flagship Chevening Scholarships. And, Fellowships Programme has brought more than 42,000 potential leaders from 130 nations to the UK and 400 new part scholarship GREAT awards available with a worth of £1.5 million, mentioned Bharat Joshi while addressing the UK Alumni meet.

Joshi added that more than 2, 50,000 Indians studied in the U.K. within the last ten years and many UK universities were undertaking research with partner institutions. He added that the new catapult centers bring top universities and private sector institutions all together to achieve high-end real-world innovation. 

Mr. Joshi stated that the UK has encouraged entrepreneurs through a variety of measures. The most recent initiative called GREAT Tech Rocketships to UK to assist the next generation of fast-growing firms. All five winners were from the South with one from Kochi, stressed Joshi.
