The British Home Office has announced varied enhancements to the visa system in China, which includes visa services for 24 hours, extension of mobile biometrics, and latest services allowing customers to file applications for British and Schengen visas simultaneously.
Effective 11 August 2014, a 24-hour “super-priority” visa service will be accessible to visitors applying in Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai.
James Brokenshire, British Immigration Minister, said that this service will be available to all family, business and general visitors, who provide proof of their compliant travel to Canada, New Zealand, the United States, the UK, Australia or Schengen countries in less than previous five years.
Chinese applicants availing the services at the existing 12 visa application centers of Britain will have VIP mobile British visa service, under which staff can directly approach the applicants to collect their biometric information.
The “super-priority” visa service, which has been successful in Beijing and Shanghai since last year, received the accolades of its customers for its ease.
