Zimbabwe and Zambia to boost visa on arrival facility for Chinese tourists

Minister of tourism of Zimbabwe Walter Mzembi announced that, its government is in a plan to arrange visa-on-arrival facility for Chinese travelers who visit South Africa.

Along with the mighty Victoria Falls, the country comprises of many opulent tourism resources.

The tourism minister Mzembi revealed to the ambassadors and journalists regarding the progress in the VOA program at one of the Tourism workshop held in Harare. .

He further noted that the uni-visa norm between the nations of Zambia and Zimbabwe is about to be announced next week. This new regime will allow travelers from across 40 overseas nations along with Russia, United States, Germany, Brazil, Australia, Rwanda and Britain to visit both the countries for 50 dollars within 30 days.   

This new uni-visa program can be attained by foreign nationals on category list B of the migration paper of the countries at their ports on arrival into Zambia and Zimbabwe. 

The key benefits of uni-visa scheme are that tourists can save their time and money, as they are obtaining single visa for visiting both the countries. 

Mzembi also said that this uni-visa would also benefit tourists who travel through Kazungula border of Botswana that divides Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
