US to resume medical examinations for Immigrant & Diversity Visas

United States embassy has promulgated that all the medical exams for immigrant and diversity visas individuals will recommence in Liberia on 16 February 2015. One of the basic requirements for all the immigrant and diversity visa applicants is the evidence from the panel-approved physician stating that he or she has completed the medical examination.

Concerned authorities of US embassy note that the individuals in Liberia who have scheduled their interview for immigrant or a diversity visa has to follow all the upgraded regulations related to the medical examination to finish their processing. Individuals willing to obtain the medical examination are advised to gain fine cognizance on the revised rules and regulations, say the concerned authorities of the embassy.

However, an applicant has to directly contact the concerned panel physician to schedule the examination and interview prior to their arrival to the nation. The concerned officials requested the immigrant and diversity visa holders to anticipate longer wait durations at the consular sections, as all the panel physicians would be engaged with the scheduling of long pending cases. In such situations, individuals can also move to other nations for a medical examination if approved by the physicians of the concerned consulate or embassy of that country.
