On 28-04-2015, the VFS Global Vietnam VAC (Visa Application Centre) was formally inaugurated.
VFS Global stated that, the new center would offer easier entry for Indian individuals as well as travel agents from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana lodging visa application for Vietnam.
The Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Ton Sinh Thanh, stated that the proposal of easing visa application for Indians nationals is a precedence for this year.
He said that two new VFS Global Vietnam centers, one in Chennai and other in Hyderabad will save money as well as time for Indian nationals from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as they can lodge a visa application to Vietnam directly from Chennai or Hyderabad.
He also added that, simultaneously, the Embassy has also minimized the time of processing and granting visas for visa applicants.
