Malaysia to allure Chinese with Visa fee exemption

Malaysian government has waived the visa fees for Chinese tourist traveling to Malaysia from 15 February to 31 December 2015, says the concerned sources of the country. Waiving of visa charges is tantamount to RM30. Speaking to the media, Home Minister of the country noted that this new visa fee exemption policy would be implemented at all the foreign embassies of Malaysia which issues visa to Chinese travelers.

An applicant making use of this new facility is allowed to travel and stay in the country for only 30 days and is not permitted to extend his or her stay duration, says the sources. They further added that the rules and regulations that are being followed by an individual so far remain same. Waiving of visa charges for Chinese tourist was made last month by Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak with a strong intention of promoting its MyFest of 2015.

Even though the Chinese tourists are exempted from visa fees, he or she may be subjected to minimum service charges by their concerned officials.
