Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada conducted its
119th Express Entry draw. It issued 3350 Invitations to Apply to seek permanent residence in Canada. The Comprehensive Ranking System cut-off limit in this draw was only 465. Additionally, in the
118th Express Entry Draw of May 29th it was 470. It is a small but significant decrease of 5 points that will help the authorities to reach towards realizing its annual immigration target.
An Impressive Record
Compared to this date last year, the performance in Express Entry is impressive, this year. The numbers are 6,250 more for issuing ITAs. There is a likelihood of holding many draws like the recent draw.
There was a Tie-break rule in this draw set at June 6th, 2019 -13:51:59 UTC. Hence the candidates who had a profile before the specific deadline had a priority in this draw.
This draw is the 12th in the Express Entry for this year and has issued 38,450 invitations now. Canada has a high target for 2019, as also for the next year. All these developments mean that the CRS cut-off limit will come down in the future draws also.
The Government has an aim to process all the applications it receives in the Express Entry within six months. This will attract many candidates to seek the permanent residence in Canada, and realize the dream, of achieving a professional career, and a good life.
