23rd Draw of Canada Express Entry System invites 1,503 candidates

For those skilled applicants who have filed their applications under the Express Entry pool for permanent residency and waiting for the current selection ranking.  The wait is now finally over as the Department of Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) has conducted the 23rd draw of Express Entry System on 18th December 2015 at 15:56:10 UTC.

The invitations for acquiring the permanent residency for the skilled migrants from different nations on the basis of their work experience, skills and education under this immigration program has been raised to 1,503 from  1451 of the previous 22nd Draw which had taken place on 4th December 2015.

The CIC who authorizes this Express Entry Draw had also released the cutoff score of this 23rd draw which has decreased only one point to 460 when compared to the previous score of 461 by 22nd draw which held on 4th December 2015.

The Canadian government had introduced this Express Entry System on 1st January 2015 for the migrants who are skilled and those who seek to obtain the work permit based on their skills, work experience and education.

In this Express Entry System, the candidates are being provided the ranks using the points based system which is also called as Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Points are being given to the candidates based on the data they provide in their profile. The candidates with high scoring points are issued the invitations to apply for the PR.

The first draw of this Express Entry System was held on 31st Jan 2015, and according to the CIC they would be holding around 25 draws by the end of this year.  As of 18th December, 23 draws had been taken place.
