A new visa centre launched in New Delhi

A new visa centre was launched in New Delhi; it was opened by Union Tourism and Cultural Minister Mahesh Sharma. According to the service provider, this new visa centre would serve around 31 client governments which also include Estonia, Belgium and Australia and others.

According to the service provider, VFS Global, the new visa centre is located at the Shivaji Stadium Metro Rail Station and this visa centre has around 153 nations and it has the capability of processing almost 12,000 application forms each day. It also provides the facilities like twin bio metric booths with the facility of plug and play for the rapid turnaround times.

The chief operating officer of the company, South Asia region, Vinay Malhotra, told that it is the 1st time ever they had created the waiting area. It is the 1st time that they had came forward with concept of waiting area and they would  word hard in providing problem free services.

Malhotra also said that the solitary group area for all the passports, the place for excellent services related to visa and the adjustable operating hours permitting expansion during peak time has been incorporated to put in to the ease of visa applications.

Along the minister, event was also attended by some of the senior most diplomats of different client governments.
