Accessing the tests of English Language for UK immigration and visas is being made easy for people by IELTS.
Since this year’s April month, many people are taking a government authorized test called “Secure English Test” (SELT) to proof their skills in English language while applying for a UK visa. The procedure has been specifically approved, and it will be taken at test centre under the special testing conditions.
For SELT tests, IELTS being one of the two providers, authorized to run the test all around the world. With its network spread to 113 permanent centres in more than 50 countries, including ten in the UK which are exclusively equipped for SELT tests. With the dates for the tests are available monthly, these centres offer the tests for the whole year.
To meet the local demands, IELTS is running more than 60 new centres in various locations.
The partners of IELTS have dynamically managed the IELTS centres. There’s nothing different for SELT tests. Victoria Sellar, IELTS SELT Consortium Concession Manager, said. As August being the busiest month, the number of centres has been doubled in the key locations like Shanghai and Qatar and the tests will be conducted in 24 countries all around Africa. She said.
As the UK government specifies the locations for SELT tests, it is not possible to conduct tests, wherever we have the possible test, takers. But we ensure that the people go for IELTS or IELTS Life Skills within 28 days, at their choice of centre. She added.
