Australian assistant minister for immigration & border protection Michaelia Clare Cash said that all the new visa applicants will now be benefited with two other English testing options. The entire skilled, former residents, temporary graduates, holiday and work visa immigrants can avail the modified alternative options.
Michaelia Clare Cash further noted that, all the individuals can now make use of the test scores of (PTE Academic) Pearson Test of English Academic and TOEFL iBT (Test of English Language as a Foreign Language internet-based test) as the proofs that demonstrate the English language proficiency.
This new English testing option enhances the competitive sportiveness amongst the applicants. The minister further noted that tests are considered as possible choices to OET (Occupational English Test) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) which have been allowed since 2011 in student visa program.
Cash has made a final announcement that they would widen the English language testing market which is in line with Cambridge English-Advanced (CAE) test scores in the beginning of next year.
