Australia and Greece to sign a work and holiday visa agreement

Australia and Greece are set to sign a work and holiday arrangement between them on May 14th 2014, Wednesday. This visa can be availed of by Greece’s young citizens who are aged between 18 to 30 years old and it will allow them to travel to, work and holiday in Australia.

The agreement will be signed by Greece’s minister of tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, and Australia’s minister for migration, Scott Morrison. When in Australia, the Greek minister will also meet those who are representing some of the largest tourism agencies. She is also slated to meet the speaker of the parliament and the senate, as also some of the other politicians.

The Greek minister will also meet and interact with the Greek Community Bureau and the HACCI (Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Bureau. And also, she is also scheduled to visit the Greek Museum in Melbourne. At that venue, she will also be meeting with Victoria’s premier, Denis Napthine.
