Number of changes to service arrangements in New Zealand for applications to the Australian visa has been done with effect from next week.  Visa applicants who apply from New Zealand should understand these changes as they are important when applying for visa application while entering Australia.

Changes to Service Arrangements for Application to Australian visa in New Zealand

From the 29th September, the applicants from New Zealand who apply for Australian visa application needs to personally visit the Centre for Visa Application (AVAC) and provide the biometrics. This is not required for the citizens of New Zealand.

Biometrics is a process of capturing the facial image and fingerprints of the applicants. The process used is quick, cautious and non disturbing for collecting the facial image and fingerprint scan of 10 digit numbers with digital finger scanner.

The applicants are encouraged by TTS to submit their applications for visa electronically or by visiting an AVAC. They will avoid the charges of service fees. TTS is also encouraging all the applicants who can mail their applications by visiting an AVAC and submit their application for visa and they can also collect their biometrics at the same time. The applicant just needs to book an appointment with AVAC’s of Auckland or Queenstown to submit their application and at the same time collect their biometrics.

The applicants need to bring their passports along with them while attending an AVAC. The new AVAC office is opening in Queenstown, New Zealand from the 29th of September this year. And it will be located at Queenstown’s 57 Shotover Street in downtown.

TT Services is providing services for visa application to the region of South Pacific on behalf of Australia’s DIBP.
