Belize exempts visasfor Colombian Citizens

Colombian overseas minister promulgated that Belize government has removed the visa for nationals willing to visit Central America. He further stated that, the new decision taken by the council ministers of Belize was announced through the political channels of the country.

Along with the Colombians, Belize is also about to join 34 more countries to visit the country without holding any visa of the country. Few of the Schengen region European Union states will presumably join the new program in the coming year.

As per the Schengen norms, European commission has approved the removal of short duration stay visas for Peruvians and Colombians. Improvements made in the short term visas are anticipated to come to force during the first half of the year 2015.

Few of the European Union member states which are part of Schengen Area are Belgium, Spain, Malta, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Slovenia, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Netherlands, Sweden, Slovakia, Austria, France, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Poland.

Other non European Union member states of Schengen region are Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
