British Columbia Invites 142 Immigration Candidates to Apply

On April 10 British Columbia immigration conducted a weekly PNP draw and also issued 142 invitations in five provincial streams. Additionally, in the draw, the minimum scores were in the range of 75 -105 points. The score requirement for semi-skilled/Entry level workers was 75 points, and for direct skilled workers, it was 95 points. Candidates belonging to the Express Entry skilled workers and global graduates, and also in the provincial international graduates (direct) had to score 105 points.

In the previous draw of April 2, the focus was on BC PNP Tech Pilot. 26 candidates possessing experience and skills in 29 occupations received the invitations. The score requirement for provincial BC Nominee Program streams, for the skilled workers, was 94 points, and it was 100 points for the international graduates.

Again it was 100 for skilled workers in the streams linked to Express Entry-, and 105 for global graduates. For the semi-skilled/Entry level workers it was 73 points.

The BC PNP Tech Pilot has 29 target occupations and also has an extended period till 2019. Its draws specifically aim to attract technology workers in the industry associated with big names. Its Requirements are that the person must have a Job offer in the 29 target occupations that is valid for one-year. Additionally, this Job offer should be valid for 120 days while submitting the application
