British Columbia invites 36 candidates in Tech Pilot

The Details

The BCPNP Tech Pilot issues invitations weekly to the eligible overseas workers having the valid job offer in any of the 29 technology occupations receiving the priority in the program. Additionally, in this recent draw Candidates in Express Entry BC as well as in Skills Immigration streams received an invitation. Firstly, all applicants receiving the invitation in this draw had to register a profile in the PNP Skills Immigration Registration System of the province.  All EE candidates who are successful in obtaining the provincial nomination from the BC Government also get 600 additional points in the federal EE CRS score.

The Provincial Program holds these Tech-Pilot draws for addressing the issue of talent shortage in the province. It also provides a quick permanent immigration pathway to the overseas workers as well as global students.
