BCPNP nominates immigrants who possess great potential and what it believes will be beneficial for the labour market of the province. For this year, they got around 5,500 nominations to be used.  Around 1350 better nominees are selected through the Express Entry immigration selection system. Since, more number of applications has been received by the BCPNP in this year, the program is temporarily haltes for until next year. However, applications under the category of Health Care Professional (killed Worker and Express Entry BC) and Northeast Small Projects are being accepted by the BCPNP.

Maximum 200 potential applicants’ registrations are being accepted by the newly opened Immigration Stream for Entrepreneurs.

To go in lines with the B.C.’s labour market with respect to the occupations and skills, the BCNCP will come up with the new points based system that will give priority to the best applicants. And these categories which come under the Skills Immigration and Express Entry B.C will be reopened in the beginning of next year.
