British Council in UAE set to host Education UK Exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

The British Council in UAE, which is the UK’s overseas organization for education opportunities and cultural relations, will be hosting the 14th Education UK Exhibitions (Edukex) 2015.

It will be taking place at the Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi on the 10th of November and also at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 11th and 12th of November.

Starting with the exhibition in Abu Dhabi, it is going to feature almost 20 universities and the event in Dubai would witness the participation of almost 40 universities. The British Council IELTS is the Gold Sponsor of the exhibition.

According to the British Council UAE Director, Marc Jessel. Edukex is coming in the middle of increased interest among the students of UAE in pursuing higher education in the UK.

According to the UK Visas and Immigration spokesman, the students coming from the UAE are choosing the UK as their favorite place to study and UK also offers excellent services of visa for the students from the UAE.

He also said that in the last year, around 1500 UK visas were issued to the students from the UAE for studying, and 99% of the UAE students applications were cleared and almost 81% of those were resolved in five days.  Special conditions being offered by the UK to the students from the UAE like less supporting documents and faster processing services. Students who are applying can take the advantage of the UK’s priority visa services for rapid processing.

The expo will be providing the students opportunities for obtaining the qualifications of the UK and then return back to their country for contributing with their skills and ideas to the economy of their country.

The expo will also provide students and parents in getting detailed information regarding educational programmes through the dedicated sessions at both the venues. It will also highlight the information with regards to studying, living, visa needs in the UK as well as information on graduate and undergraduate degrees and information on scholarships and financial aid.
