Bulgaria facilitates visa rules for Kazakhstan

Bulgaria has eased the visa rules for Kazakhstan. Chairman of Tourism Industry Committee and Ivan Dimitrov, ambassador of Bulgaria in Kazakhstan, met to discuss the possibilities of strengthening the mutual relationship in tourism.

In April 2014, Bulgaria unilaterally launched a simplified visa regime for the citizens of Kazakhstan. At present Bulgaria issues multiple entry visa for one year for Kazakhstan citizens, who performed no violations against the law during the stay in the county on their previous visits and multiple entry visas are issued for three years for those who possess assets and did not go against the lawful rules of the country during their previous stays in the country.

Bulgaria Air, the national airline, will begin flights twice a week up to 10 September 2014, with Almaty-Burgas charter flight being the first one planned for 04 June 2014 and Astana-Burgas fight for return on 26 June 2014.

Representatives of Kazakhstani companies for tourism were invited by ambassador of Bulgaria to obtain information on tourism across Bulgaria.
