Canadian Province has announced that the Quebec Investor Programme (QIP) is now opened for accepting new applications.
The period of intake which started on 1st August will last till 29th January, 2016, and 1750 applications will be accepted.
Conditions are looking favorable with comparison to the previous years. Those interested are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible, as the intake cap will get filled before the intake period.
The QIP is tailored to those investors who are looking to invest and settle down in the Quebec Province. Canadian residency is provided in exchange of minimum investment in the economy of the region.
This is programme is very much popular as it counted as one of the most investor programmes in the region and a welcome change in the route for prior route for federal investor which is closed for next few years.
The applicant can be alone or can accompany his wife, must have assests that should worth for atleast CAD 1.6 million. To participate in the investor program, an agreement must be signed to invest a total of CAD 80,000. The Quebec government guarantees this investment and will fully be returned after 5 years.
Applicant’s family member receives the same status, when the applicant is granted the residency.
The intake cap remains the same when compared to the previous round of applications. However, the period of intake is increased.
One month of time is offered by the programme to the applicants to submit their application. A maximum of 1200 applications from any one country is accepted for processing.
