Large numbers of foreign technology companies are choosing to set their base in Canada. Many firms from Silicon Valley and their investors are taking interest in setting up the technology hubs in Canada for hiring talent and setting up the satellite operations.

Currently the Canadian Prime Minister has encouraged and invited the international technology firms for building a world class tech sector in Canada.

Overseas tech companies who set start operating from Canada could pull skills of high skilled workforce. These companies could provide Canada with all the invaluable experience on how the tech firms are built and managed.

Tech firms in Canada has hired many skilled individuals and had also put big amount of money into the economy of the country. In the cities like Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto firms like D2L, Shopify, Hootsuite, Vidyard and Influitive are running successfully along the overseas tech giants.

Prime Minister of Canada has recently launched the Google’s new Kitchener-Waterloo engineering office. The Prime Minister had made visits to Waterloo University and Blackberry office, and had thrown some light on the positive impact of presence of Google for local tech community.

Apart from creating job opportunities for individuals in Canada, Google had joined hands with companies in setting up the nation’s first Google for Entrepreneur hub.  

With the rise in tech jobs in Canada, future generations will benefit hugely from the tech sector of Canada.

By the year 2019, there will be as many as 1, 82,000 high paying tech jobs to grab in Canada. Companies who are looking to employee temporary international employees in technology sector should be able to hire, train and retain its workers.
