The results for the 47th Express Entry draw in Canada were announced by the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), on 16th November 2016 - for the candidates applying for Canadian PR. Under this most recent draw, 2,427 ITA’s were provided to the applicants who scored 470 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System.
Now, there was an evident decrease in the CRS score by 2 points and the number of ITA’s increased by 347, in contrast with the
46th Canada express entry draw.
Now, the 47th Express Entry draw was 24th for 2016 and 47th since its inception in January last year. The
Express Entry System of Canada
selects applicants depending on the scores received by them in the CRS. Express Entry System by far is the best method for obtaining Permanent Residency in Canada.
Candidates with low scores, looking to apply for Canada PR visa, should keep looking towards the Provincial Nomination Program, since it provides them the advantage of additional points and thus they may have the possibilities of getting back inside the pool.
