CIC minster Chris Alexander has advised the migration officials of the country to introduce one year pilot program for inland spouses who are already staying and looking forward for permanent residency of the country.

Most of the inland spouses are unable to work in the country due to the long processing time of sponsorship requests, thus the Citizenship and Immigration Canada has planned to introduce a new sponsorship program to aid spouses in obtaining their request at the earliest.

All the existing individuals who are been awaiting for permanent residency can attain their work permits and permanent residency within few weeks, while the new aspirants has to wait for minimum of four months to get their request processed. However this new sponsorship program allows an individual to work under any of the employers for particular duration of time, till their applications get processed.
