According to the Chinese Government, it is planning to make it easy for the overseas nationals to reside and work in the country under its latest rules for getting the permanent residency, with the efforts to raise the country’s economy with more internal investment.
According to the statement issued by the Chinese government, it targets to enlarge the categories of overseas citizens in China eligible to get the Chinese similar to that of a US Green Card. Procedures would be eased and limitations would be relaxed on the overseas students who look to work in China.
The economy of China has posted its slowest growth in the quarter century previous year, growing 6.9%. The officials are expecting that the increase this year would be between 6.5% and 7%.
Over 7,000 overseas citizens had acquired permanent residency since the policy was adopted in the year 2004. Most of them had got the permanent residency status for meritorious service to the economy of China.
